Calling all English GCSE students and literature lovers! For the first time at Hull New Theatre, Dickens Theatre Company presents the Bard's bloodiest tragedy.

With the infamous Porter as narrator, an ensemble of six actors conjures a cauldron of characters as Macbeth and Lady Macbeth begin their terrifying descent into Hell. Set against a backdrop of war, witchery and treasonous ambition, Shakespeare's Macbeth remains chillingly relevant in the 21st century.

Part of DTC's Revision on Tour, this accessible adaptation is designed to entertain, engage and educate to the bitter end.

Q&A with the cast and director after every matinee performance, offering students the chance to explore the play's themes, characters and staging in more depth.
